This template describes essential preference storage and optional analytics on almeron.cy.
1. What cookies and local storage are
Cookies and local storage allow a website or browser to remember small pieces of information. Almeron uses local browser storage to remember the visitor’s analytics preference. The final launch configuration must be audited for any additional storage added by the hosting, form or analytics providers.
2. Essential preference storage
The key almeron_cookie_consent stores whether optional analytics has been accepted or rejected. It does not contain a name, email address or contact-form message. This preference is needed to remember and apply the visitor’s choice.
3. Optional analytics
Google Tag Manager container GTM-5M6PPDW6 is installed as the analytics delivery layer on every page. Consent Mode defaults analytics storage to denied. The website’s optional custom analytics events are enabled only after the visitor has accepted analytics.
Google Analytics 4 uses Measurement ID G-BEKVRZMTB6 and must be configured through Google Tag Manager. No standalone GA4 script is included. The final site owner must document the tags, storage periods and providers actually published through the GTM container.
4. Analytics events
When analytics is accepted and correctly configured, the website may record non-sensitive interactions such as navigation, CTA clicks, visible solution or industry sections, FAQ opens, form state events and consent updates.
Analytics events must not include names, email addresses, phone numbers, free-form messages, payment information or other personal or sensitive form content.
5. Accepting, rejecting or changing your choice
The cookie banner provides equally direct options to accept analytics or reject non-essential storage. Use “Manage preferences” in the banner or footer to review and change the choice later.
6. Browser controls
Browser settings can also remove site data or block storage. Removing the stored preference will cause the website to ask for a choice again. Blocking optional analytics does not prevent access to the public website content.
